RaceQuip Junior Large One-Piece Racing Fire Suit

The RaceQuip brand, first introduced in 1975, has built a reputation for manufacturing and distributing high-quality auto racing safety equipment. The SFI and FIA-rated auto racing and motorsports safety gear produced by RaceQuip is recognized by and designed for use in almost any racing series or sanction.

The RaceQuip Youth single-layer SFI-1 racing suit is made from Pyrovatex FRC material. While these suits are sometimes referred to as "fireproof" racecar driver's suits, all auto racing safety gear is actually "fire-retardant." Pyrovatex offers the maximum combination of overall flame and heat protection, durability, and comfort. This fire retardant cotton-based (FRC) material is used because it retains the softness and breathability of cotton and will wick away moisture from the skin. Pyrovatex fabric is gentle and non-irritating to even the most sensitive skin, and the treatment process leaves the exterior surface shiny and supple.

Since the Pyrovatex process combines a chemical agent with the raw cotton fibers to create a bond at the molecular level, the suit will retain its flame retardant properties beyond the useful life of the garment with proper care. All racing suits are assembled with heavy-duty, multi-needle, over-lock safety stitch machines to provide exceptional seam strength. RaceQuip suits feature a high-quality heavy-duty Nomex backed brass zipper installed with a double overlap for a more secure front opening.

The RaceQuip youth driving suit features stylish contrasting armband stripes that match the full-length leg stripes. The black accents, including the high back collar, leg and arm cuffs, and epaulets, give the suit a unique look and style. The pleated back panel provides freedom of movement, and the boot cuff legs complete the design. This SFI-1 kid's driver's suit offers an outstanding value, designed with younger drivers in mind who race NHRA Jr. Dragsters, Quarter Midgets, Cage Karts, and other types of competition series that require an SFI Certified driving suit.

The RaceQuip Youth single-layer SFI-1 racing suit exceeds SFI 3.2A/1 specs with a TPP rating of 11. It is available in black with black, red, purple, orange, or pink trim in sizes from Child 2X-Small to Child 2X-Large (refer to size chart). The suit is SFI 3.2A / 1 Rated (Tags Affixed) and features a Single-Layer Pyrovatex FRC Construction, a TPP Rating of 11, a Fresh and Stylish Design, Contrasting Arm & Leg Stripes, Black Wrist & Ankle Cuffs, a Nomex Backed Heavy-Duty Brass Zipper, and a Pleated Back Panel for Flexibility.
